Flashback: Bombing Claremont
The video that pretty much started it all, at least for some of us at skatehouse. Flashback to roots! Check out Noah Sakamoto and Patrick Rizzo bombing their local run circa 2004. Flashback: Comet // COMET ROOTS (2004)
Comet was founded in 1997 as a downhill focused brand. Soon thereafter, Comet attracted a diverse network of underground skaters in the San Francisco Bay Area. Here’s that mix of street and hill mobbing. The crew still hangs out together in the Bay Area and have continued to inspire the Comet brand for close to a decade now.

3 Year Anniversary of Skate House Media
Skate House Media is celebrating three years since it’s creation with our first post on December 26th, 2009. It was started as a fun project and still one today. With over 1,500 site updates, 450 original videos, and thousands of photos, we are still smiling and have a good time. Skate House Media is only possible because of the great skate community we are all apart of. Skatesgiving 2011 Photo Flashback
The East Coast transplants in the house headed back east last week to meet some of their old friends and hit the road in the Comet van for this year’s Skatesgiving trip. Our crew consists of Anthony Flis, Ben Dubreuil, Brian Peck, Matt Kienzle, and Pat Schep and we’ll be all over the mountains of the East Coast for the next two weeks. We just left Soldiers of Downhill heading south and are currently working on getting footage of the finals up so check back tomorrow for that. The first Skatesgiving video will be released on Thanksgiving day (November 22) but until then we have some never released photos of last year’s trip to keep you stoked.
