Calvin Staub Gettin’ It
Madrid and Venom rider Calvin “50 Cal” Staub gettin’ after it on one of our favorite canyon runs. Remember: you never know what you’re going to find around a blind corner; so always stay in your lane on an open road.

Timeship Racing – Ross Porter Shred New Mexico
“Introducing 17 year old Albuquerque native Ross Porter. Ross can lay down some massive man-sized stand-up slides in a ditch or in a blizzard and tucks like its 1976. Wrongboarding, skateboarding or longboarding, it all involves 4 wheels and Ross skates it all like a boss.”

Facetime with Calvin Staub
Colorado native and Lookout Mountain local Calvin Staub has been hanging out at the skatehouse for the last couple of months. We took a break from skating a local favorite to talk about helmet hair, racing your dad, and how a dirtbag skateboarder can make enough money to eat.

Lil Wayne’s Secret Session at theTimeShip
“After his concert in Albuquerque, Wayne and his crew rolled their tour bus up to the TimeShip Skate School to unwind with a 3:00 AM session. He was joined by Lil’ Chuckee, Adam Ziegler, DJ Scoobdoo, and our Team riders Lucas Harari, Zion Miller and Dave Price. Sometime around dawn, Wayne climbed onto the platform for his first ever drop in on a 6 foot ramp. We were all stoked to see him make it on his second try, then they called it a night and hit the road.”

Race Photos from Giant’s Head Freeride
Adam “Awger” Auger battles Aaron “from the block” Grulich for one-handed toeside supremacy.
While we certainly dig the laid-back, noncompetitive atmosphere at freerides, if you’re going to shut down a sick hill for three days you might as well have a race and see who’s fastest.
Summerland native “Prince” Dillon Stephens defended his title and took first.
Sector 9′s Big Lou was sporting an absolutely filthy moustache when he got second.
JimZ’s hands-down style was surprisingly fast. He and Madrid rider Justin Rouleau crashed later in the run, nuking Rouleau’s ankle.
Thirty more after the jump, including some dudes whose names we don’t know. See yourself? Let us know so we can put your name up and give you the recognition your steez deserves.

Event: Atomic Bomb
The Atomic Bomb in Los Alamos, New Mexico is a fast 55mph sweeping race course challenging riders to fight to stay in their tuck. With soft gooey tar snakes running throughout the course racers had to fight wobbles beside 3 other riders as they went down. Special thanks to Timeship Racing for hosting the event.
