Guestbook: Adam Persson

Swedish shredder Adam Persson has been lurking at the Skatehouse for the last month or so, traveling to Buffalo Bill with the crew, skating the local hills, playing with his Kendama, and hitting grinds on the mini-ramp.

Since its introduction to the community by Dillon Stephens, the Kendama has taken professional downhill skateboarding by storm.

Guestbook: AJ Powell

AJ Powell, aka “Big AJ,” hails from the land of poutine and tabarnac: Montreal, Quebec.  It takes a certain amount of radical stoke-ness to be an active skateboarder where it’s freezing cold and snowy for 5 months out of the year, and AJ definitely possesses that stoke.  We call him Big AJ because, well… he’s a big guy!  And he’s not afraid to get his size behind him and kill some wheels to the core.  Big AJ, little wheels!

Whether it’s bombing fast, shredding wheels or attacking some coping, AJ is always down.  If you ever get the chance to road trip or hang out with him at an event: DO IT!  You’re guaranteed good times and many hilarious stories.

Guestbook: Brian Holden

If you have ever met Brian Holden, then you know he is a unique character.  He’ll ask you if you want to go visit the King of Burgerland or hang out with Ronald when he’s hungry. He’s a good friend that will go out of his way to help you and make sure you’re laughing the whole time. Sometimes though, you can’t help but wonder if he’s being sarcastic or not. It doesn’t help that when you finally break down and start laughing in his face, he claims “Yo I’m serious, dawg!” He was a local at the SkateHouse before he recently moved back to Colorado but he is welcome back anytime.

Guestbook: Kevin Reimer

Kevin Reimer is the 2010 IGSA World Champion, fresh off an extraordinary racing season with over 10 wins last year. He showed us he doesn’t plan on slowing down this year by starting the season with a victory in Puetro Rico. Many know K-Rimes as a dominating racer but if you have ever talked to him you know he is all about skateboarding, period. He is motivated to become the best skateboarder he can be simply because he loves to ride. His true passion is downhill but he’ll be quick to tell you his favorite skateboard maneuver is an ollie.
