Sessions: Sunny Winter Days
In search for dry pavement and blue sky PDX and the SunSet Sliders crewed up and cruised down south. We were amped to hear about their trek and meet up for skating and good times. If your streets are covered in snow and ice road there’s no better way to escape the winter then a road trip.

Scene Suppporter – Caliber Truck Co
SkateHouse would like to welcome Caliber Truck Co as a scene supporter! Caliber started in 2010 and came into the scene strong, supporting a bunch of rad riders and events. Their crew is primarily from NorCal and they all throw down, hard. With team riders like Liam Morgan, Blake Smith, and Aaron Grulich, Caliber riders rep the Bay Area and lay down big, fast, stylish standup slides.
Caliber is becoming well known for the unique style of photos and videos produced by their media guy, Dustin Damron. Cowtown
Rumors and maps of a new road up in NorCal had piqued our interest; but we hadn’t gotten around to actually skating it until March, when Blake Smith invited Pete Eubank and Max to come make a video with Sinjin Davis. The road didn’t disappoint, and after way more “warm-up” runs than we really needed, we got down to business and filmed this.
Blake definitely knows how to use a camera, and his website North State Downhill is stacked with sick videos and quality photos of NorCal’s many shredders. Check it out.
