Kozakov Challenge 2012 – Madrid Edition

Team Madrid headed out to the Czech Republic to hit the Kozakov Challenge. There was cheap beer and good food at the hilltop campsite and a fast, narrow, technical track to race; so of course we had a great time.

Guestbook: Brian Holden

If you have ever met Brian Holden, then you know he is a unique character.  He’ll ask you if you want to go visit the King of Burgerland or hang out with Ronald when he’s hungry. It doesn’t help that when you finally break down and start laughing in his face, he claims “Yo I’m serious, dawg!” He was a local at the SkateHouse before he recently moved back to Colorado but he is welcome back anytime.

Fun Group Session

Having a fun session is a fairly simple equation… start with some good friends, add a great hill, and you’re pretty much there. A Volvo station wagon never hurts, either. A bunch of us sessioned this rad road that rides sort of like a rollercoaster, if you could pave one. Check it out.

Obey The Man

While sessioning a favorite local road, we were payed a visit by The Man. As most of you probably already know, this can happen often to downhill skateboarders. Always skate safe, follow the rules of the road, and obey The Man so you can be sure to skate another day!

Special thanks to Cody Shea, Barrett Johnson, and Dan Kasmar from Five Mile boards for breaking out the zipline during a corner session with a fun crew.

Sessions: Guns & Skateboarding

A few weeks ago, the SkateHouse crew took a trip up to Santa Barbara to meet up with a big crew of Southern California locals. Rounds were fired, gnar was shredded, and everyone had a great time.
