“With just enough direction, the crew manages to meet up with Zarosh Eggleston in the sticks of Central California. An hour of dirt roads later, and they’re at his ranch enjoying his DIY spot, the relaxed lifestyle, and the local watering hole. The crew grabs some speed runs on an access road to a very wealthy community not keen on skateboarding, and takes a dip before the pilgrimage north begins again. Many thanks to Zarosh Eggleston, and the awesome community of Cachagua.”- Arbor Skateboards
“The van moves on, and so does the Arbor Skateboards team. Moving up through Central California, the boys take advantage of a secret driveway, a well known ramp right on the beach, and cap it off with some serious speed runs.”
It’s long overdue but here is Part 1 of the Best of 2011. We promise you wouldn’t have to wait as long for 2012 to come out.
“The Arbor Skateboards team continues north on their road trip up the coast of the Golden State, and pulls out into farm country for Day 2. Things get crowded and sketchy on a road with no name and center divider. Everyone stays safe and in their lane and the crew ends the day with a dune surfing session.

“The Arbor Skateboards team is back on the road for Get Elevated 2012. In episode 1, they start their trek up the coast of California. Rising bright and early at Skate House in Los Angeles, they take off into the interior valley on their way up the Pacific Coast Highway. Follow along as they hit the Ojai skatepark for breakfast, do a highway bomb for lunch, and hit a full pipe for dinner.

“Arbor Skateboards presents the 2012 Get Elevated tour. 11 skateboarders in a van headed up the coast of California, finding shelter and food by the good graces of friends and family on the way. LA to the The Bay, 10 days, with some of California’s best roads, scenery, road rash, broken bones, hillbillies, sketchy pack riding, and getting elevated the whole way. Get tree bro!” – Arbor
What do you do when the weather is perfect? For Eric Singer, there’s only one option, head away from the beaches, away from the crowds, and into the hills. Watch as he gets funky on his new 2012 Arbor Prodigy skateboard. For more info on the Prodigy click here.
Eric Singer and Max Myers drive out of the city, past the farms, to where the animals run free on the roads. No amount of goats, bee hives, or bobcats in the way can prevent them from taking advantage of a beautiful California day and hauling ass down an otherwise sparsely populated road.
When winter blows in and the skate bug is itching, it might be time to head out for a Skatecation. JP Rowan and Casey Morrow of Rip City Skate and PDX Downhill rounded up the crew and took the Sk8bus for a trip down south.Special Shout out to the sponsors that make the bus possible:

“Episode 5 brings the 2011 Arbor Skateboards Get Elevated tour to an end. The crew is exhausted after a week of filming, but still determined to finish the project. Things get even more fun when Brad Farmer and the last team member, Josh Hunt, show up in the middle of the night. While at James’ cabin, they give some thoughts on the dynamics of filming with 6 people at 50mph, and spend some well earned R&R time on the lake with some brews. The skating is rounded out with one last session on a road near to James’ heart and his place on the lake. It proves to be a monster as well, boasting hairpins, a 60mph straight, and countless sweepers and bends. Not everyone comes out unscathed, and a couple close calls coupled with the guys being at wits end brings the trip to a solid finish. The preparation for the long trip back to the “valley of scum” gives everyone time to reflect what they had just experienced on the road over the last week.
