Calvin Staub 2013

Colorado native and Madrid Skateboards pro rider Calvin “50 Cal” Staub, who lived at the skatehouse for much of 2011 and 2012, applies his fast hands-down speedboard style to sick hills in California, Colorado, and Europe in this video for his new pro board.

Calvin also rides for Venom bushings and wheels.

Madrid Euro Tour 2.0

Filmed at the tail end of the 2012 Euro tour, this one has some quality footage of the Madrid team skating a ski lift equipped downhill skatepark outside Stuttgart and a super sick hill Martin Siegrist showed us in Switzerland. Also, Zak does a stand-up slide over some cow poop; which is pretty radical.

Facetime with Calvin Staub

Colorado native and Lookout Mountain local Calvin Staub has been hanging out at the skatehouse for the last couple of months. We took a break from skating a local favorite to talk about helmet hair, racing your dad, and how a dirtbag skateboarder can make enough money to eat.

Colorado Sessions

Raw Run: Zak Maytum at Maryhill Freeride

With a closed road, haybales in place, and EMTs at the ready, the Maryhill freeride allows for absolutely nutty pack riding. Ride along with 2010 Festival of Speed winner Zak Maytum as he weaves through a huge pack, passes a tandem street luge, and rallies the rest of the hill with Kyle Martin, Chip Wood, and Calvin Staub.

In The Neighborhood

Zak Maytum, Calvin Staub, Pete Eubank, and Max went out to look for new hills and spots to get radical in the suburbs around LA. They found a chunky hairpin, some grass rides, driveways, and a bank to slash. Here’s the footage.
