Flashback: Bombing Claremont

The video that pretty much started it all, at least for some of us at skatehouse. Flashback to roots! Check out Noah Sakamoto and Patrick Rizzo bombing their local run circa 2004. Flashback: Comet // COMET ROOTS (2004)

Comet was founded in 1997 as a downhill focused brand. Soon thereafter, Comet attracted a diverse network of underground skaters in the San Francisco Bay Area. Here’s that mix of street and hill mobbing. The crew still hangs out together in the Bay Area and have continued to inspire the Comet brand for close to a decade now.

Flashback: Danger Bay to LA 2008: Part 2

After a rowdy Danger Bay race weekend a crew of us piled into the Mercado van for a road trip down to LA while skating every spot we could fit in. It may only be 3 years ago but it’s rad to look back and see how much the skill level has risen. If you missed Part 1 be sure to check it out.

The vibe hasn’t changed though. It’s still about a group of friends getting together and shredding what they can for the love of skateboarding.
