The Caliber Truck Co. crew is at it again! This time they’ve gone to one of the most remote islands possible in search of the best roads. We’re super excited to have teamed up with them to bring you the three part series before anyone else – and after watching the trailer, we’re excited to see what it brings. Be sure to stay tuned for this one so you won’t feel left out when all of your friends are talking about it!

From Caliber: “600 miles off the coast of Madagascar sits Reunion Island. With a small, but strong local community, the island has been on our list of places to explore for a long time. The stories we heard of perfect pavement and epic mountain roads descending volcanoes sounded too good to be true, so we sent James Kelly and Liam Morgan to explore what the island had to offer. They came back telling stories we would never believe if Jack Boston wasn’t there with the video to back it up. We’ll be delivering the experience in a three part series – with the first installment dropping Friday July 31st. Make sure to set aside some free time, ’cause you won’t want to miss this.”

“Reunion was straight up a downhill skateboarding paradise. Hundreds of roads, some with up to 140 hairpins, perfect French road infrastructure and amazing locals. I really gotta give James credit on this one. He’d been scoping the island for years on Google maps and I was just lucky enough to be invited on the trip. I didn’t really know shit about the island other than what James had told me, so I was pretty stoked when we touched down and started to uncover a plethora of roads I only thought existed in dreams…” – Liam Morgan

“I never thought I’d make it to Reunion Island.  It’s so remote and hard to get to, being off the coast of Madagascar. Some friends and I had been scoping out the hills on Google Earth for years and it looked like an insane destination for skating and filming. It was a dream to make it there. I feel very lucky to have made it with the team I did, and to have the opportunity to capture the island, hopefully giving it the reputation it deserves. The hills were amazing but that’s no surprise, what was a surprise is the amazing local hospitality and friendship we all experienced with the people we met there.” – James Kelly
