Gold Rush 2010 was two days full of riding down on one of the best tracks in North America. Congratulation to Kevin Reimer on defending his title against 160 world class skaters. With riders coming as far as the Philippines and Australia it was no easy task.
The first day was just freeriding in a constant sprinkle. Plenty of slides were to be had with the shuttles getting us over 20 runs. The weather eased up on race day and stayed dry until the final heat. Zak and James tangled in the top turn leaving Kevin and Patrick to battle it out. Patrick came in hot in the last corner trying to make up the ground he needed but the wet pavement didn’t give him the grip he needed.
