Zak Maytum came to town a few weeks ago to do some skating and take care of some business. He’d just gotten some new Venom wheels from the factory; so we got a few SoCal locals together and took a day trip to test them out on one of the better downhill skateboarding roads in the world. Good riders, new gear, sick roads, and perfect weather. Sometimes everything just comes together.
