We headed up to beautiful Morro Bay, California a couple weeks ago for the first-ever world championships of skatercross. The concept is sick—head to head racing with jump ramps and banks to spice things up—but the course wasn’t very forgiving. Pretty much every downhill racer and slalom guy got broken off; but we took our knocks in stride and had plenty of fun over the course of the weekend.
