Just like every other skate crew on the West Coast, the Sunset Sliders like to start at the top of the biggest hill in town and take it all the way down to the ocean. We stopped in SF on our road trip to Maryhill Festival of Speed and, as usual, the locals showed us a good time. Check out Marcus Bandy posted up in the middle, getting photos.

Not just a fine photographer–check his portfolio in the new issue of Concrete Wave–Marcus is a beast of a skateboarder. We saw this street gap when we were driving up a popular run in Portland. Marcus pulled the van over and made it third try.

The crew gettin’ rowdy on a Portland favorite. Remember to recycle.

The streets of San Francisco are very, very steep. Pete Eubank pushes in to some silliness.

Pushing isn’t my thing; but I’ve got to give props to the long-trekking freaks who like to push hundreds of miles and camp out. We met this guy on a skatepark tour of the Oregon coast. He’d started in Arizona and was on his way to Portland.

Inspired by King Brian’s awesome style, Matt K has been skipping the big slides in favor of just barely scrubbing through corners. Here, Bobby K pushes the back end out on a tricky off-camber corner.
